Arbaeen Foreign Pilgrims Begin Crossing from Bazargan Border

\nThe official movement of foreign pilgrims for the Arbaeen commemoration has commenced from Iran’s Bazargan border crossing, local sources reported. To facilitate their journey, four public service Moukebs (pilgrim service stations) and eight entry and exit gates have been established at this border point.<\/p>\n
Pilgrims primarily from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and various European countries are entering Iran via this crossing. Their transit route to the Tamarchin border will take them through the Iranian cities of Khoy, Salmas, Urmia, and Naqadeh.<\/p>\n
It is anticipated that up to 15,000 foreign pilgrims will utilize this route. At the Bazargan border, facilities are in place to accommodate and host 2,000 pilgrims daily, with three public Moukebs providing round-the-clock services.
