In Baoding’s Fuping area, hourly rainfall reached a record 145 mm, while over 540 mm fell in eight hours in Xizhuang \u2014 surpassing the city\u2019s annual average.<\/p>\n
More than 46,000 people were affected, and over 4,600 evacuated. In Beijing\u2019s Miyun district, landslides cut off power and communications in some villages, with over 3,000 people relocated. The Miyun Reservoir saw record inflows of 6,550 cubic meters per second.<\/p>\n
