More Young Men Stay With Parents as Solo Living Rises Among UK Elderly

New figures from the UK\u2019s Office for National Statistics (ONS) show that over a third of men aged 20 to 34 are living with their parents, compared to just over a fifth of women in the same age group. The data reveals that 3.6 million young adults now live with their parents, up 10% from 2014. <\/p>\n
The ONS attributes the trend to young people reaching life milestones later, driven in part by rising housing costs. Meanwhile, the number of people living alone in the UK has reached 8.4 million\u2014an 11% increase over the past decade.<\/p>\n
