\nThe death toll from monsoon rains in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh has climbed to 125, with dozens more injured and missing, amid continued heavy rainfall across the country, Anadolu Agency reported.<\/p>\n
According to a statement from the state\u2019s Emergency Operations Center, at least 125 people have lost their lives in rain-related incidents since June, including 55 in road accidents. Another 215 people have been injured, and 34 remain missing.<\/p>\n
Fresh rains lashed the Himalayan state on Monday, closing roads and hampering rescue operations, officials said.<\/p>\n
The destructive monsoon rains have also wreaked havoc in other regions of India. In Uttar Pradesh, 18 people were killed in rain-related incidents, while parts of Rajasthan face flood-like conditions. Heavy rainfall has also disrupted daily life in India\u2019s northeast, according to local media reports.<\/p>\n
