Disturbingly, 10% said they encounter such hostility regularly, indicating that Islamophobic attitudes are becoming normalized in spaces meant to foster inclusion and diversity, such as schools, universities, and professional workplaces. The report also found that although Muslims make up only around 6.5% of the UK population, they account for 42% of victims of recorded religious hate crimes\u2014a figure that points to what experts describe as an entrenched pattern of discrimination and tacit acceptance of anti-Muslim bigotry.<\/p>\n
