The boy also created a manifesto expressing Nazi sympathies and listed targets including the mosque and his school. Police intelligence foiled the attack, arresting him on January 23, 2025. He pleaded guilty under the Terrorism Act and remains in secure custody. His defence described him as a vulnerable, isolated youth influenced by online content.
