The residents of Holy Karbala commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (peace be upon him) by holding a symbolic funeral procession for his pure coffin. The ceremony took place around the holy shrines of Imam Hussein and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), under the supervision of the Department of Rituals and Husseini Processions in Iraq and the Islamic world.<\/p>\n
The funeral procession began at the Bab Baghdad area, moved toward the courtyard of al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and concluded at the courtyard of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
