\nFor the first time, Saudi Civil Defense will deploy the AI-powered firefighting and rescue drone \u201cFalcon\u201d during this year\u2019s Hajj, Arab News reported. Designed for high-altitude and hard-to-reach locations, the drone can fly up to 12 hours carrying a 40-kilogram payload. <\/p>\n
Equipped with a multi-purpose firefighting system, thermal cameras, and live video streaming linked to command centers, Falcon enhances rapid response and safety in crowded areas, industrial sites, high-rise buildings, and forest fires. Its use aims to reduce risks to personnel and improve emergency decision-making. <\/p>\n
Major General Hamoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj highlighted ongoing preventive measures, including safety patrols and joint emergency exercises to ensure coordinated responses during Hajj. <\/p>\n
Additionally, Public Security Director Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Bassami reported strict enforcement actions: over 269,000 unauthorized non-residents were blocked from entering Makkah, 252 fake Hajj campaigns were dismantled, and more than 1,200 violators of transport regulations were arrested. <\/p>\n
