Amid escalating Islamophobia in the United Kingdom, Better Communities Bradford (BCB) has introduced Project Unity, a national initiative aimed at addressing anti-Muslim prejudice through education, awareness, and dialogue, Atalayar.com reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project responds to alarming statistics: although Muslims represent only 6.5% of the UK population, they are the victims in 42% of religious hate crimes, with Islamophobic attacks surging by 74% in 2024 alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A recent study highlights that Muslims receive four times more negative media coverage than other groups, contributing to widespread misconceptions and discrimination. Within workplaces, 40% of Muslim employees report bias in performance evaluations and promotions, while 60% of Conservative Party members view Islam as a threat to British life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
