Witnesses reported the bomber arrived in a tuk-tuk, ran into the recruitment line, and detonated explosives. Medical staff at the military hospital received 30 injured, six of whom died immediately. Dozens of abandoned shoes and the bomber\u2019s remains were visible at the scene. Government forces quickly secured the area. No group has claimed responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The attack follows the assassination of a battalion commander in the Hiiran region and echoes a similar 2023 bombing at a nearby military base that killed 25 soldiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
