A shocking wave of anti-Muslim hate crimes has gripped India following the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack, according to a report by the Association for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR). The report details 84 hate speeches, 39 assaults, 19 acts of vandalism, and three lynchings\u2014all backed by official sources. In Uttar Pradesh\u2019s Agra, a Muslim man was brutally killed by members of the far-right Kshatriya Gau Raksha Dal. In Karnataka and Jharkhand, two others were lynched under false pretexts, as police remained passive or complicit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Victims included children, students, shopkeepers, and religious leaders. Attacks also targeted Islamic schools, homes, clinics, and even graveyards.
