During a ceremony in Karbala, Bahrain\u2019s Al-Muharraq Intellectual and Cultural Center gifted the Quran to Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalayi, the shrine\u2019s custodian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This unique copy measures 1,250 meters in length and is written on a paper scroll wound around two reels, one on each side.
