The suspension applies to Saudi citizens, GCC nationals, residents, and all visa holders. Entry to Mecca after this date will be limited to those with official Hajj permits. The last date for Umrah pilgrims to arrive is April 13, and they must leave by April 29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From April 23, residents must obtain special permits to enter Mecca, limited to those working in the holy sites, residing in Mecca, or holding Hajj permits. Permits can be issued electronically via the \u201cAbsher\u201d and \u201cMuqeem\u201d platforms.
