The UN is seeking $45 billion in 2025 to assist approximately 185 million people facing starvation and displacement, yet has only received 5% of this amount so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The emergency funds will primarily target underfunded crises in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, with about one-third designated for Sudan, where nearly two years of civil war have resulted in widespread hunger and displacement.
