Sweden\u2019s Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson warned that Europe may fall behind in the global artificial intelligence (AI) race unless it eases strict regulations on the technology, Anadolu Agency reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the Techarena event in Stockholm, he urged European policymakers to adopt a more flexible approach to AI governance to compete effectively with economic powerhouses like the US and China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kristersson noted that the American and Chinese economies have outpaced European economies significantly over the past two decades. He cautioned that if Europe does not adapt, it risks becoming “some kind of a museum” compared to other parts of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
