A joint Egyptian-British archaeological mission uncovered the tomb in the mount of Thebes, west of Luxor, within the Valley of the Kings. The site, previously identified as tomb No. C4, was confirmed to belong to Thutmose II after artifacts bearing his name and that of his wife, Queen Hatshepsut, were discovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
