The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has expressed strong opposition to the Joint Committee’s report on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, claiming it disregards the opinions of Indian Muslims and follows an “arbitrary undemocratic process,” Deccan Herald reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AIMPLB President Khalid Saifullah Rahmani stated that if the bill is passed, a nationwide movement will be initiated within constitutional bounds. The board urged the government to withdraw the bill, emphasizing that management of mosques and religious sites should remain with the Muslim community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
