According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), more than 545,000 people have moved from southern to northern Gaza in the past week, while over 36,000 have traveled in the opposite direction. Dujarric highlighted reports of over 250 young children being separated from their caregivers during these crossings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The UN has established three temporary sites in North Gaza\u2014Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahiya, and Jabalya\u2014to accommodate at least 5,000 people. Additionally, around 280,000 school-aged children have registered for the UN Relief and Works Agency’s e-learning program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dujarric also expressed concerns over ongoing Israeli military operations in the occupied West Bank, citing the destruction of 20 residential structures in Jenin, displacing at least 15 families. Since January 21, the Palestinian death toll in the West Bank has reached 39, following intensified Israeli actions.
