In the capital, Khartoum, an airstrike on an RSF-held region killed two civilians and injured dozens. The ongoing power struggle between Sudan\u2019s army and the RSF, which began in April 2023, has intensified, particularly this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nkweta-Salami also highlighted civilian casualties in North Kordofan and Darfur, where the army has reportedly recaptured strategic areas from the RSF. Both factions have faced accusations of targeting civilians. \u201cThe suffering of Sudanese civilians has gone on for too long,\u201d Nkweta-Salami stated, urging an end to the conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fierce fighting in south and west Sudan resulted in the deaths of at least 65 people and wounded more than 130 Monday, medics said, as the devastating war between the army and paramilitary forces rages on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
