Assemblywoman Shama Haider honored two Pakistani-American leaders, Hannan Arshad and Rizwan Ali, for their dedication to civic engagement. Hannan, a Rutgers graduate pursuing a Master’s in Healthcare Administration at NYU, was recognized for his involvement in interfaith initiatives and community service. Rizwan, Religious Chairman of Darul Islah Mosque in Teaneck, was acknowledged for promoting interfaith dialogue and organizing community events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now in its second year, Muslim Heritage Month aims to highlight Muslim Americans’ contributions while fostering cultural understanding and unity.
