According to the organizers, the visit showcased calligraphy and geometry in an effort to build bridges between members of the Muslim community and other Quebecers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jawad Kanani, Muslim Awareness Week board member, highlighted the impact of Islamic architecture on people, especially newly immigrants, as it helps them feel as if back home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
