Algeria’s Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Dr. Youcef Belmehdi, announced the launch of a groundbreaking project to create a “Sign Language Quran” for the deaf and mute community. This initiative follows the success of printing the Braille Quran for the visually impaired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking at a national seminar titled “Strengthening and Establishing National Religious Identity,” the minister confirmed the project has begun, saying, “We are working on producing the Sign Language Quran for our brothers and sisters who are deaf and mute. We have already started with the first chapters.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
