The attack occurred Sunday night in the isolated village of Malamyawri, Cross Kawu ward, near Lake Chad. According to a civilian JTF source, the insurgents arrived around 11:45 p.m., assembled villagers, and killed two fishermen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A local official voiced concerns over residents’ safety, calling for immediate military support, as the attackers were reportedly seen moving around with weapons but no vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
