The daily scholarly meeting with Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Hosseini al-Shirazi was held on Tuesday, the 2nd of Jumada al-Awwal. In this session, as in previous meetings, the Supreme Marja addressed the questions of attendees regarding various jurisprudential issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grand Ayatollah Shirazi explained the nature of the intercession of the Infallibles (peace be upon them), stating that intercession is only for those whom God Almighty is pleased with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His Eminence referred to verse 28 of Surah Al-Anbiya, which states that intercession is granted only by those who have received the pleasure of God Almighty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further stated that the Infallibles (peace be upon them) also adhere to Divine criteria for intercession and only intercede for individuals whom God Almighty is pleased with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
