It is not for me to impose upon you what you dislike.&#8221; This statement, the Grand Marja noted, encapsulates the principle of a ruler who honors the will of the people and avoids coercion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grand Ayatollah Shirazi explained that a fair leader never forces actions without the people\u2019s consent, describing this as the essence of an authentic Islamic government\u2014a model demonstrated by the Holy Prophet Muhammad and Imam Ali, peace be upon them.
