Pakistan Railways Police have rescued and reunited 626 vulnerable children with their families and welfare institutions over the past eight months, Aaj News reported yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Most of these children were found unaccompanied at railway stations, often after leaving home due to family disputes or in search of a better life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally, the Railways Police reported the retrieval of around 2,000 lost pieces of luggage valued at Rs 19.2 million, assisting 13,360 handicapped, injured, and elderly passengers with first aid and mobility aids during their journeys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
