Zahidullah Khan, Swat\u2019s district police officer, said the diplomats were invited by the local chamber of commerce to highlight the area as a potential tourist spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The convoy was en route to the Malam Jabba hill station and ski resort when the bomb exploded. While the police convoy took the brunt of the blast, all diplomats were unharmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
