According to a statement from Michael St\u00fcbgen, the Minister of the Interior for Brandenburg, the Islamic center in Forstenwalde was closed for activities that violate Germany’s constitutional laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The local official, a member of the Christian Democratic Union, emphasized that the government has a duty to stifle the activities of institutions promoting outdated ideologies at their inception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
