80 Islamic organizations in the UK have announced the formation of a new coalition to address the rising tide of Islamophobia, following a series of violent attacks by far-right extremists targeting Muslims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These incidents have led to widespread unrest in several cities across England and Northern Ireland, raising concerns within Muslim communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a press conference held in London, representatives from the newly formed “Islamophobia Action Group” unveiled the coalition, which includes 80 Islamic organizations and prominent Muslim figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group emphasized the urgent need for the government to take decisive action against the growing threat of Islamophobia in British society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The coalition’s statement highlighted the concerning increase in hatred and violence towards Muslims, warning that the normalization of Islamophobia has fueled these attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They presented three key demands to the British government:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Immediate adoption of the definition of Islamophobia proposed by a previous parliamentary committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. An independent review of far-right activities, particularly focusing on the role of social media and mainstream media in spreading hatred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Direct engagement with Muslim communities through legitimate representatives, especially the Muslim Council of Britain.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The group\u2019s initiative is a direct response to the recent far-right riots targeting Muslims and their mosques, as well as other minorities and immigrants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
