The previous record was 134.5mm set in 1976.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to the severe weather, Wasa Managing Director Khalid Raza Khan declared a rain emergency, overseeing ongoing drainage operations. Deputy Commissioner Waseem Hamid Sindhu inspected various areas to expedite drainage efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wasa urged the public to exercise caution during the storms, advising them to avoid electricity poles and waterlogged areas. Parents were warned to keep children indoors to ensure their safety.
