Iraq’s Minister of Health, Saleh Al-Hasnawi, announced on Saturday that 100,000 medical personnel will be participating in the health plan for the Arbaeen pilgrimage, confirming the deployment of medical stations and immediate ambulance services within the holy city of Karbala and along the roads leading to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In an official statement followed by Shia Waves Agency, Al-Hasnawi said, “The health plan for the Holy Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him, consists of three key components.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The first involves the medical aspect, including the provision of all necessary medical supplies, the mobilization of hospitals, and the deployment of medical stations along the external roads and within Karbala city,” the minister said, adding that “the second component includes awareness, guidance, health monitoring, and taking samples of food products to ensure their safety.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The third component involves deploying ambulances along the routes to quickly address any incidents, while the ministry has already introduced a barcode system for its medical services, allowing pilgrims to access medical teams via it.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Al-Hasnawi noted that 100,000 medical personnel, excluding volunteers, will be providing health services under the ministry’s plan, emphasizing that medical stations and immediate ambulance services within Karbala and along the routes will handle any cases of heat exhaustion that may affect pilgrims due to high temperatures.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
