James Elder, who recently arrived in Sudan, called the situation “critical” and pointed out that Sudan now has the highest number of displaced children in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Elder reported that around 10,000 children are being displaced daily due to the conflict, which has affected five million children over nearly 500 days, stressing that many displaced children end up in camps without access to clean water, medical care, or proper sanitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
