The tragedy struck on Monday morning around 10:00 a.m. local time in the Geze Gofa District. Among the deceased are 148 males and 81 females, as reported by the Gofa Zone Government Communication Affairs Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rescue operations are underway, with the Ethiopian Red Cross Association and professionals from nearby regions assisting the victims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
