Amnesty International condemned this use of lethal force, stating it is unlawful and contradicts the UN Basic Principles on the Use of Force and Firearms by Law Enforcement Officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The organization also criticized the Pakistani government for imposing restrictions on mobile internet services in Bannu, arguing that such actions impede citizens&#8217; ability to organize, spread vital information during emergencies, and can incite panic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amnesty International further admonished the government for its ongoing failure to promote and facilitate peaceful assembly while ensuring the safety of protesters.
