Record-high sea-surface temperatures in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans contributed to the soaring heat, the report mentioned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Scorching temperatures have blanketed regions from India to the US, while relentless rains have caused flooding in countries worldwide. Wildfires and a record-early Category 5 hurricane in the Atlantic also marked the first half of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
