The UK-based Imam Al-Hassan Association has held its 3rd annual conference on the blessed occasion of al-Ghadir, the anniversary when the Holy Prophet appointed Imam Ali, peace be upon them, as his successor and caliph.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The association, based in the city of Hull, launched its conference on Thursday 27 June, hosting a group of distinguished scholars, professionals, intellectuals and general believers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among the keynote speakers were Professor Sayyed Hammad Naqvi, Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Ansari, Dr Baha Al-Wakeel, Sayyed Abdull Munaam Al-Hassan, Sayyed Watheq Al-Yaquobi and Saeed Bilal who chaired the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
