Recent media reports indicate a rise in attacks targeting security forces and the assassinations of police and government officials in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Most of these attacks have been claimed by the Pakistani Taliban, also known as Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last month, unidentified gunmen attacked a house near Gwadar city in Balochistan, killing seven workers in what appeared to be an ethnic attack. All the victims were laborers from Punjab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
