The UN agency said in an official statement: “According to the Ministry of Health, 59,000 cases of cholera\/Acute Watery Diarrhea (AWD) have been reported since the beginning of 2024.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
UNICEF recently reported in a joint report with the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Cluster that the number of cases reported by health authorities reached 37,977 suspected cases of cholera in all Yemeni governorates since the beginning of the year until May 19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
