According to the news agency citing the provincial information department, the extreme weather conditions that began on Friday have also caused widespread infrastructure damage, with 2,000 houses completely destroyed, 4,000 partially damaged, and over 2,000 shops submerged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The latest tragedy comes just a week after flash floods in northern Afghanistan killed 315 people and injured more than 1,600 others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
