The Holy Karbala-based Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development, one of the centres affiliated with the office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, has reaffirmed its commitment to providing support and assistance to Iraqi families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The foundation’s director , Abdul Sahib Al-Kishwan, told Shia Waves Agency, “The foundation, guided by its humanitarian mission and the recommendations of the Supreme Religious Authority, seeks to meet the needs of needy families in the holy city of Karbala and across the Iraqi provinces.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He pointed out that “the Charter for the Protection of Iraqi Orphans, developed by the foundation and delivered to the central government in Baghdad, is the first project of its kind in the country, calling for the establishment of a private foundation dedicated to caring for orphans similar to the Martyrs and Political Prisoners Foundations.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
