“This has been one of many floods over the last few weeks, due to unusually heavy rainfall,” the UN Food Program stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said the floods have impacted four provinces, destroying 2,500 to 3,000 houses and killing hundreds of livestock, while also damaging critical infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rescue teams have been deployed to provide aid and transport the injured to hospitals, the source mentioned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
