The returnees entered through border crossings like Torkham, Ghulam Khan, and Spin Boldak from Pakistan, and Islam Qala and Milak from Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the same period, 43,422 Afghans also left for Iran and Pakistan, with 24,348 going to Iran and 19,074 to Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The influx of returnees comes as Pakistan and Iran have intensified crackdowns on Afghan refugees, leading to the daily deportation of dozens of families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
