The director of the Environment Department in Karbala, Engineer Hamed Ubaid Al-Yasari, said in a statement that the department is working on relocating industrial and commercial facilities outside residential areas to prevent pollution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Al-Yasiri noted the presence of factories in residential areas, which violates environmental regulations, such as the Al-Mu’alamaji area, and mentioned the relocation of a brick factory in Imam Aoun and Al-Kamaliya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally, the official mentioned plans to relocate construction industry facilities in the Frieha area to reduce smoke emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
