The study exposed octopuses to different temperatures, simulating current and projected future summer temperatures, the article added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Those exposed to higher temperatures showed reduced production of proteins crucial for vision and experienced higher rates of unborn offspring and premature deaths of mothers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
