Militia gunmen have raided the village of Galay in the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s Ituri province, killing at least 15 civilians, TRTWorld reported yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Innocent Matukadala, an administrative official, reported that the death toll could rise as many people jumped into the Ituri river to escape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An emergency services official said 16 bodies were found in the village square, including seven women, one of whom was pregnant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
