He was taken into custody in July 2018 and accused of inciting ethnic separatism after his involvement in the publication of two books, “Altun Kesh” and “Ana Yurt,” which highlight the persecution of Uyghurs and their victory over Chinese nationalist forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
