Thousands of individuals in Cologne, Germany took to the streets on Thursday to protest against racism in commemoration of the UN\u2019s International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, Anadolu Agency reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The demonstration, organized in the biggest city of North Rhine-Westphalia state, highlighted a united effort to confront racial bias and promote inclusivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gathering at six different locations across the city, participants displayed signs with anti-racist messages and voiced slogans denouncing all forms of discrimination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the march, criticism was directed at the secret gatherings held in Potsdam by politicians from the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, known for its anti-foreigner and anti-Muslim stance, as well as Austrian far-right nationalist Martin Sellner, regarding a proposal to deport millions of foreign-born individuals from Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
