The Iraqi historian and researcher Saeed Rashid Zamzam affirmed the authenticity and significance of the scientific seminary (Hawza) in the holy city of Karbala, which is considered the first seminary known to Shias and was established by Imam Al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, and distinguished scholars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In order to document these important milestones of the holy seminary in Karbala, researcher Zamzam recently released a new book titled “The Pillars of the Supreme Authorities in Karbala”, shedding light on these significant milestones in the lives of the city’s scholars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zamzam said in a statement to Shia Waves Agency that “the book discusses the biographies of scholars and religious figures from the Ja’fari school of thought who dedicated themselves to serving and nurturing the authentic sect.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added: “Their names are still remembered by hundreds of scholars, intellectuals, and religious students studying in dozens of religious seminaries of the Ja’fari sect in many Islamic countries.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that “the book highlights a group of Shia scholars over a period of 1000 years in 300 pages.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is worth mentioning that the author Saeed Rashid Zamzam was born in the holy city of Karbala in 1951, completed his studies there, then went to Baghdad to continue his education. He has numerous published works, totaling more than 60 books printed in Beirut, the holy city of Qom, Baghdad, and Holy Karbala.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
