Displaced people in Zamzam camp in North Darfur are suffering from high malnutrition levels due to insufficient humanitarian aid almost a year since the violence began, africanews website reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Around 300,000 people displaced by the war in Sudan are living in difficult conditions in the camp, with children being the most affected, the report says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It further adds that these desperate victims of the devastating war lack care and food, and that some hospitals have closed due to the conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to MSF, the mortality rate at the camp is almost ten times higher than expected, and the nutritional situation is not good, with an estimated one child dying every two hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
MSF has called for urgent international mobilization to save lives, after the conflict has already resulted in the death of at least 12,000 people and the displacement of over 7 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
