Fourteen Taliban terrorists killed and wounded in military operations in Afghanistan

Afghan forces killed nine Taliban militants, wounded five and arrested two, during operations in three provinces of the country, according to the Afghan news agency, “Khama Press”.

Thunder Corps 203 said in a statement that Afghan forces repelled an attack by the Taliban on security forces in the Karabakh region, killing six militants and confiscating a PKM machine gun and an AK 47 assault rifle.

The statement added that the forces killed two Taliban militants and wounded two others during a separate operation in the Shajari area on the outskirts of Ghazni city.

The Thunder Corps also added that, during an operation carried out in the Azra district of Lugar province, Afghan forces killed another gunman and wounded three others, in addition to arresting two in Paktia province.

The Taliban have not commented on the operations so far.
